An MBA graduate from YALE UNIVERSITY - It still sounds unbelievable. I used to walk around campus or sit in classes and wonder how did I ever make it here. It was an absolute dream come true. The most enriching years of my life; I have learnt and grown in every possible way. It was not only about the interesting classes, the impressive professors or the inspiring schoolmates, but the entire experience and how it changed my perspective and views about business, leadership, impact, and even my true potential. For all of this and more, I will forever be indebted to OSSP. I am more than grateful for the opportunity they handed me, as well as their support throughout the entire journey.
It is such a pride to be an Onsi Sawiris Scholar. The generous support of Orascom Construction not only made it possible for me to achieve my dream, but continues also to be a source of inspiration to think big, build sustainable businesses and to invest in my community as true leaders do.

Stanford UniversityWhen I was applying to the scholarship program, I viewed Orascom Construction as one of the best companies in Egypt. Now, after almost 4 years of working there post my MBA, I view Orascom Construction as a true leader not just in Egypt but globally. I am proud to be part of an organization that plays an integral role in each country we operate in by improving the quality of life for people. Whether in the Middle East or the US and through projects in power, water & waste water, gas imports, transportation, industrial and healthcare, we directly touch the lives of millions of people.

Stanford UniversitySixteen years after joining the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program, I still feel as grateful today as I felt on the day I was notified of my acceptance into the program. Year after year, the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program continues to be an amazing program that appreciates, nurtures and develops talent in young individuals enabling them to achieve their full potential, possibly even beyond what they thought they could possibly achieve. The support provided to me by the Onsi Sawiris Scholarship Program has enabled me to take my dreams further and created opportunities for me that may not have been possible had I not been part of that program. Being part of the OSSP has definitely played a big role in where I stand today, and has filled me with a sense of gratitude and a desire to try and give back to the community as much as possible. Thank You.

Stanford UniversityOrascom Construction indeed sees the educational advancement of Egyptian youth as paramount to the more comprehensive goal of developing and strengthening the Egyptian economy system. On a more individual level, however, Orascom Construction actively encourages students to develop their full academic potential and to explore different and intriguing educational possibilities.
I am very grateful to Orascom Construction for allowing me to pursue a world-class education and to explore and discover my academic interests.

Harvard UniversityI am eternally grateful to Orascom Construction for giving me the opportunity to continue a world class education at MIT without the added heavy financial burden. The work being done by Orascom Construction with the scholarship not only benefits the scholarship recipients, but rather, is the spark that lights a long lasting flame that will continue to benefit Egypt at large through all the work, benefits, and employment those recipients then provide in turn. My hope is that this program will continue to run for as long as possible, and that it serves as an example for others to follow in its footsteps and continue to benefit the country in much needed ways in both a direct and indirect way.
